Columns and flat view

I have set my default columns for all folders using "Folder Options and clicked "Save format for all folders". However, when I change to "flat view", the system reverts back to the system default. How can I get my own default in flat view?

It is a special folder format. You can change it here:

Settings > Preferences > Folders > Folder Formats > Folder Type Formats > Flat View

If you want to get rid of the column "Location".
