Combine Folder Formats?

I always like to see the Location column when viewing a collection so i've added this to the default format for collections.

The problem is if I view a collection full of documents it uses the format that's setup for Documents instead of collections. Is there a way to always show the location column regardless of the content of the collections?

Edit the Documents format and, on the Options tab, turn on Include columns from other matching formats.
