Combining "Select First" with "Type"

Currently, i can´t combine both. I have lots of folders with JPGs, a PNG screenshot, plus some GPX file, which both used to end up at the top of the list (which is sorted by "datetaken", by the way).

Maybe i could find some trick, to have them sorted at the end of the list, but i think it would be good anyway, if we could use something like SELECT FIRST TYPE=jpg.

Thanks Leo. I almost suspected, there is already a way. Is there maybe some trick to apply this automatically, whenever i enter certain folders? Like all folders under ...../photography?

A script using OnAfterFolderChange is the way to do that.

So i hope, GP will write that for me. because i'm not a programmer, just a user.

Edit: ok, i have another idea, why don´t you introduce some "smart" auto-scripting function. Just ask it for a certain task, & it will code it for you! :smiley:
