# Command: RenameFromClipboard

Thanks. It works. Great alternative to [RenameEx](https://resource.dopus.com/t/command-renameex-extended-rename-command/20642).

The difference is:

- `RenameEx FROMCLIP` renames the file name and extension and support full undo.
- Eval version keeps original extension and only renames the file name and the downside is it doesn’t support undo (only the last selected file).
