How can I compare two folders (A and B) where I want to identify the files present in folder A but not in folder B.
One way, open the two folders side by side, then use Edit -> Select Other -> Select Source-not-In-Destination.
(That way only checks the filenames, not any contents, and does not recurse into child directories.)

Sorry but in the Edit menu I only see
Select all
Select
Invert selection
Sounds like you're looking at the older v9 "ListerMenu"... if you right click on any toolbar, and goto Toolbars in the menu that pops up you should then see a toolbar named simply "Menu". Click on that to turn on the new default v10 version of the old "ListerMenu" and you'll see the item that Leo is describing. You can then either think about sticking with the new v10 Menu toolbar... or just customizing your old v9 "ListerMenu" and add that and any other new items from the new v10 default toolbars.
Thanks.
It's done.
Had not yet see all those available toolbars.
Also thanks to Leo.
