Context menu and Unlocker

In the box "Edit 'All files and folders' File Type", I have

Unlocker FileType CONTEXTFORCE CONTEXTMENU={DDE4BEEB-DDE6-48fd-8EB5-035C09923F83}

But Unlocker (an app for unlocking locked files and folders) does not show up in the context menu (it used to, but that was probably about a year ago).

What might have happened that made this app not show up in the context menu, and how do I get it back?

Thanks,

Hans L

That worked for me, at least with the 64-bit Unlocker.

Does the menu item appear if you hold shift and right-click? What about in Explorer?

I have win 7 Ultimate 64-bit.

Shift or not, Unlocker does not show up in neither Dopus nor Windows Explorer.

Unlocker is installed in my ProgramFiles (x86).

Maybe I need to uninstall and then install the 64-bit Unlocker. I'll do that and get back to you.

Thanks!

The 32 bit Unlocker will not work in 64 bit Opus.

That's what I suspected. When Leo mentioned his 64-bit "success", I remembered my own change from 32 to 64, and figured that it was the reason. And it was. It now works great.

Thanks,

Hans L

As you know from my response to Jon above, after uninstalling the 32-bit version of Unlocker, and installing the 64-bit version, Unlocker now show up in the context menu.

Now, I can go to Hawaii (Saturday) relaxed!!!

Have fun!

Thank you, Jon. And do you know when I will have even more fun – when I eventually get to Australia; I have been no further east than Israel, and no further south of Tangier in Morocco. (I believe that Tangier used to be an independent political entity of some kind, but no more.)

I've been to Brazil and Argentina, Canada and the USA (where I now live) and most of Europe when I was a radio operator in the Swedish Merchant Marine.

See you, mate!
