Is it still slow if you turn on Preferences / Miscellaneous / Windows Integration / Hide Windows items on file context menus (shift overrides)?
If it's a lot faster then then the problem is probably caused by a shell extension something has installed: Crash, exit or high CPU when right-clicking certain files
