Control behavior of tabs when a volume disappears and reappears

I'm one of those users who has many tabs open at a time, and some of those tabs are navigated to folders on removable media like a flash drive or external disk. If one of those devices is disconnected for any reason, even for just a moment, any tabs that are showing that device get replaced with "This PC" (I'm assuming it's just going to the home directory, which I have set to "This PC").

There are of course many reasons why a path might become inaccessible (removed media, deleted folder, renamed folder). In my case, I'm only interested in the case where a folder is inaccessible because the whole volume became unavailable, and then later reappeared.

It would be nice if DOpus had an option to remember which tabs got "kicked out" of their folder, and automatically restore them if the device becomes accessible again. Currently I have to manually go through all the tabs showing "This PC" and press the back button to get back to what they were showing, and I've had a few mixups where I simply lost track of what folder I had open.

As a side note, it would also be helpful if a tab could somehow visually indicate that it lost its folder, like a red icon or the name being grayed out or something.
