I have an number of drives on my computer. I select a drive and copy it. I then try to paste it to another drive or folder, but nothing happens.
Is there a setting Preferences?
Drives can't be copy & pasted. (Same as in File Explorer, I think.) You have to select the things at the root of the drive and can then copy & paste them into a folder.
You are correct. I just tried it in Windows 10 File Explorer and it won't do it. I am sure I could do it in XP's Windows Explore. It does not matter. I used the F2 to copy the long drive name then create new folder and paste the works to that.
