Hello to you,

Up front, sorry if the answer is already available here, regretfully I cannot trace it.

Right now I may select filesnames and then go to Edit-Copy Filenames-and then select e.g. 'as FileNames only'.

My detailed-listing shows names/sizes/modified dates and sometimes attributes.

I'd like to copy all that I 'see' - so names/sizes/modified dates.

Wud that be possible, one way or the other, or is this already on wishlist?

# thanks

You could use the Tools/Print Folder function which prints to clipboard or to a file.

I hate to ask, one last question...

a tab is placed, when copying to clipboard.
that is definitely okay... so I can paste into Excel.

Basically that works fine. There is one handycap.

it is like this:
shortname \> \> \> size\> date-time
long-longname\> size\> date-time

because of this, the size and modified columns end up in different
columns in Excel.
Actually it wud be nice if there is only 1 tab (\>) after each filename.

Is this a settings-issue?

## tks again brgds

Right now the tabs are inserted so that the columns line up in a text editor, rather than for pasting into Excel. I think it's a good idea, though.

The ability to print to a CSV file has already been requested. That would make it reasonably easy to get directory listings into Excel but it still means faffing about with extra files and isn't as nice as going straight from clipboard to Excel. Might be worth [sending GPSoft a feature request](http://www.gpsoft.com.au/Support.html) for a tab-separated clipboard option.
