Copy modified date to created date?

I have a backup to cloud program (iDrive) and when I lost some files I had to do a restore, but the restored files all show "created date" as today. However, I see that the "modified date" is correct. Is there a way to change the created date to modified date?

You can do that using the Set Attributes dialog. This thread is about doing the opposite, but it's done in the same way/place:

The Attributes dialog (in the menu attached to the Properties bottom near the right of the default toolbars) lets you copy one timestamp to another, and can apply that to multiple files: [200dpi_wc11311_dopus]

By default, when you copy a file in Windows it sets the created date to the time of the copy but may preserve the modified date of the original file. (Never made much sense to me either. You can tell Opus to preserve both when copying under Preferences / File Operations.)
