Copy name from folder tree (was: how about)

Is there a way to add a button to copy the name of a directory?

In the menus, we can copy the name of files, or full paths, but not just a directory name.

I'm not exactly sure what you mean, but if you're talking about the "Copy Filenames" function, this works interchangeably on folders and files.

If you highlight a directory in the tree on the left, and then choose,
edit / copy filenames, the choices are greyed out, so you cant copy just the directory name.

Am I missing something?

I do see if works if you higlight that diretcory in the main right hand file ares, but not in the left folder tree view.

Are you using the latest version of Opus? This was fixed in 9.1.0.3:

The Clipboard COPYNAMES command now operates on the Folder Tree when it has focus

BTW, please use a more descriptive thread name than "how about" next time. It's not helpful to other people browsing/searching the forum if the subject doesn't tell them anything.
