During my project work I periodically have to copy some really large directory trees (about 400 GB). Thus I'm missing an option to let DO bypass the filesystem caches and performs the copy operation fully unbuffered.
That will highly increases the overall system performance since the filesystem cache is not purged by the copied files.

I'm told that you've already mentioned this to GPSoftware. This is a user-to-user forum so there's not much to be gained from requesting it here as well, except that you might find some other people who support the idea.
Yes you are right, but I'm not sure wheter I miss some related options since I am evaluating DOpus for just a short time. Thus I hope that there may be a flag that anybody can point me to. If DOpus does not consider this, I have to wait for the reply of my support query.

There isn't an option to disable copy buffering as far as I know.
