Copying hidden files in the root of a directory

Hello,

I am using 10.5.1.3 Pro Version and when copying a complete folder DOpus is not copying 1 hidden file in the root of this folder.

If I try the same thing with Windows Explorer not only does it copy the hidden file but it also displays the hidden file.

So how do I get OPUS to copy everything including hidden files?

If you select the folder itself Opus will copy everything in it, including hidden files (unless you're using a Copy Filter to exclude things).
If you go into the folder and manually select files to copy, Opus will only copy the things you select.

Your answer does not help. I am copying the folder and it is not copying
the hidden file. If I do the exact same copy with Windows Explorer it copies the hidden file correctly.

The folder is on a mapped network drive and I am not using any filters in Opus. Unless there is something set by default to not copy hidden files.

So what do you need from me to show you that it is not working correctly?

If you turn off the three File Display > Global Hide Filters, does the hidden file then show up in Opus?

What is the file?

What kind of network drive is it on?

Is the file inside the directory you are copying, or at the same level as it?

Hide protected operating system files was selected. I unselected and now it works correctly.

Thank you.

So you realise the files were actually copied and just not shown?
