Hi guys,
It would be nice to see an option in the folder formats dialog to use "coverart.jpg" for the lister background image. This would work well for Music folders. See image below.
Your thoughts...?

Agreed. It's on the list.
I think this is a great idea and I'll absolutely use it if implemented... @Leo/Jon/Greg... if it's not made totally free-form for arbitrary use, can it be made so that it follows something like the Miscellaneous->Advanced option in Prefs for "cd_thumb_coverat_file"... either of which I think would be preferably to an entirely static name like coverart.jpg?
Yeah, really nice idea.. o)
Thx blueroly for posting.. o)
Would be nice if it would also have the option to set some default transparancy just like Leo did with his self created Lister backgrounds.
Totally agree. Also an option to offset the image so it's not flush with the corner of the lister. In the image above I had to add a 5 pixel border (or was it 1 pixel?) to the album cover and set the transparency to 50%.
I'll add the request to allow using the folder's local Folder.jpg as the source for an icon to use for the new File and Folder Labels. This would allow the local music artwork, for example, to be the icon used for say flac or mp3 files.
Great idea!
