Crash log submission #310

Current system information:
Directory Opus 13.6.12 (Beta) Build 8936 x64
OS 10.0 (B:19045 P:2 T:1) SP 0.0

had a crash while editing [playing wiht] a new Button to display\hide a couple of my custom toolbars.

using this refrance page,
which i just noticed is for v12 not my v13.

the button code ...

//Toolbar NAME="x Apps v1" STATE=top TOGGLE LOCAL
//Toolbar NAME="x Status Label Icons" STATE=top TOGGLE LOCAL
//this works perfectly for keeping the toolbars docked, now has it own button with button, have this here for quick reference

//Experimenting with with floating the toolbars below this line

Toolbar NAME="x Apps v1" STATE=fdbottom TOGGLE FLOAT

//Toolbar NAME="x Apps v1" STATE=top TOGGLE FLOAT
Toolbar NAME="x Status Label Icons" STATE=top TOGGLE FLOAT

was change the states of the center line for Toolbar NAME="x Apps v1" STATE=fdbottom TOGGLE FLOAT

while running the button from the box so i could see where the different float stats would place toolbar

i lost the exact text in the crash but i probably had a conflict in between ...

i was experminting with changing the STATE=example and FLOAT=example commands

working on this button for toolbars from this post as inspiration ...

Thanks for sending that in. We've made a change which should stop it happening in the next update.

thanks!

i wasn't to worried, but set it along if could be help on your end.

I'm not surpised i mananged to crash it as i was willy-nilly changing those states codes to see\learn what would happen with the floating toolbar commands.

furthermore I'm always, and love, experimenting with all the various functions dopus can do, and as I'm not programmger\coder\scriptier its very hit or miss soooo I'm surprised i don't cause crashes for myself more often. :rofl:
