I have a Sony Walkman NWZ-ZX1 , running android 4.1.1, and when I connect it to my PC, Directory Opus crashes. Then when it restarts, it sees the device fine, and lets me explore it. My other android devices do not cause any problems.
I'm running Windows 10 on my PC.
If there are crash dumps matching the date/time of the crash, please zip and email them to leo@gpsoft.com.au and we'll take a look.
This might be related to MTP - directory opus pro vs 10&11 also crash when connecting to an MTP or PTP usb device. Older android devices (pre-KitKat) that connected direct using native USB work fine.
That shouldn't be true in general, but may be for some devices. Let's keep discussion of this to your other thread, to avoid saying exactly the same things in two different places:.
