Every time the Customize mode is active, and when editing buttons, the Command Editor window is for some reason system-wide topmost (this is not a new issue). And it gets in the way: whether I'm looking at the Opus' offline docs, or in the web browser, or using any other non-Opus window/application, the Command Editor window is still topmost and has to either be moved around (it cannot be minimized) or closed. And if it's in enlarged advanced script-editing mode then it blocks crippling amount of screen.
Is it possible to fix it so that the Command Editor window is topmost only on Opus lister level, and not system-wide topmost?
Also, I've noticed the Customize window (additional window which is opened below) invariably confuses coworkers when they edit their buttons -- they don't expect they must also click OK on it too, so they more than once lost their button changes after they clicked OK on Command Editor and dismissed Customize window via escape (or sometimes Cancel). I got somewhat used to it, but that part of Customize mode is quite clunky indeed.
It's on-top because some of the things it edits are also on-top and would cover it otherwise. (e.g. Pop-up menus, or on-top listers/toolbars.)
It's not ideal, I agree, at least if you only have one monitor to work with and need to refer to other things.
If it's more natural to them to think of editing individual buttons, not the toolbar they are on, suggest turning both of these options on:
Preferences / Toolbars / Options:
Alt-Click to edit Toolbar buttons
Minimize Customize dialog
Then hold alt and click a button to edit it. Make changes, then click OK in the button editor. As long as you never click on the minimized Customize window, you will never see it or have to think about it, and Opus will effectively click OK in it for you.
Isn't there a way to bring the editor away to be the top-most window?
It's not possible to make a screen shot with Windows 10 Snipping Tool nor with SnagIt. Or is it?
It's not possible to switch to my remote desktop in the office when required. I would have to close the editor otherwise it's also on top of my remote desktop.
