for the path bar: click Settings>Customize. the path bar turns into a box with the word Location in it. right-click, choose Field Type, select Path(Basic). click OK on the Customize window to finish.
for the status bar: right-click on the status bar, select Edit Status Bar. top-right, click the Samples button, choose Explorer (Windows 2000). set the same thing under Status Bar (Dual) in the same window. click OK to finish.
I have some good news Both are very easy to accomplish, just look at the attached screenshots.
To edit the Location field (path bar), go into Customize mode (right-click on any empty toolbar area and select Customize), then right-click on the Location field to see the context menu. You need the "Path (Basic)" option from here.
The status bars are extremely customizable, and most luckily there is a Windows Explorer-lookalike preset is also available.
