Date format

I've been wanting for ages to get the date of all files represented only with the day,month,year numbers, not "Yesterday", "Saturday" etc. as happens with recent ones. Can that be done?
DO version 9.5.

BTW have just upgraded to version 10 and found it there. So far, v. 10 is looking good!
