Default Folder

I have set Folder Tabs to: Double-click to a new tab showing: Default Folder.

But where do I set the Default Folder?

The setting is labeled initial folder instead of default folder, which is most likely why you missed it. (When using the Preferences filter, always try synonyms if you cannot find something.)

Settings > Set As Default Lister.

I'm sorry, you are correct. I got my wires crossed when I read your question. It's early here (6:18 AM) so the brain isn't fully booted yet!
