Default Sort By Modified (Date & Time)

I cant for the life of me figure it out, i searched here, found answers back 12 years ago that no longer is a solution. I deffinitly tried to find the answer, and dig through the options myself, so forgive me if this is incredibly obvious.

I just want to make the default sort order be most recently "Modified" (Date & Time);; and if I CAN, only for a specific folder, but thats not completely necessary. Please help, im ready to drag my face through glass :stuck_out_tongue:

If you only want it for one folder, not all folders, the only change in the steps in that guide would be to select the appropriate option ("Save format for a folder") when saving the format.

It should be all you need to do. Have you tried it and found it didn't work?
