Delete button on viewer window?

Is it possible to have a delete button (a red X) on the file viewer window controls as in the Windows File viewer?

It probably does make sense to add a button to the toolbar, but in case you don't know you can delete what the viewer is displaying by pressing Del (or Edit->Delete File).

Thanks. And can I add that button to the toolbar or is this not customisable by the user?

The toolbar in the viewer isn't customizable, though it would be neat if it was.
