Delete QUIET FORCE NORECYCLE questions

Delete QUIET FORCE NORECYCLE

brings up a confirmation looking like this, is that correct? The popup does not appear if "NORECYCLE" is omitted.


2) Additionally if I omit QUIET switch, it changes button layout and icon like this:


I think I already encountered these different layouts in the past occasionally, but don't know for sure.

  1. And then I noticed, the confirmation appears even if the file does not exist. Never noticed that before.

No big deal for me, just in case anything is abnormal, you might be interested to know..

Is Preferences / File Operations / Deleting Files / Ask for confirmation for each selected file before deleting turned on?

Even though that option is enabled, I see no reason why it would lead to confirmation popups, if I've used the NORECYCLE switch in conjunction with QUIET.
