Lo Order Issue Can different Listers have different Toolbars.
[ul]I created a very minimal lister (single pane, no tree, no toolbars), saved it as Template
Then I discovered that my Default list also had no toolbars
Soon found customize in the title bar, so no permanent damage. [/ul]
Under Preferences > Layouts & Styles > Styles you can see what you can edit in custom styles. Which is pretty much everything apart from toolbars. It would be a nice edition actually.
I would like to prioritize that feature if possible. It will make more sense to saved listers and toolbars with customized layouts for differents tasks.
But I want to add a feature to all of this. If possible, make a setting to keys shortcuts to let chose if the keys from The buttons of a toolbar are activate or not by being visible (the toolbar or button)
Toolbars saved as part of a layout is planned for the future but at the moment you can't do this.
It's good to hear it's on the agenda Jon. Of all the possible new features I've read about for Opus, that has been my favourite since I started to use this powerhouse of a file manager.
I'm also interested in that feature.
Eg. I work on a project and frequently use SVN features, copying files in specific way, like recreate structure, maybe automatically overwrite files. All these features are only needed when working on a project so it's not necessary to display the toolbar always, even when I'm browsing folders with my music.
You can turn on toolbars which are "local" to a window, using the Toolbar command. You just can't make them part of a layout/style/folder-format, or turn off any of the "global" toolbars (without turning them off in all windows).
We totally understand why you'd want to do those extra things, though.
