I prefer to have my lister tabs at the top... but when I do so, it's very difficult to differentiate the active tabe from the others.
This seems to be because the highlighting around the tab is light coloured at the top, and dark along the bottom... so if you have tabs at top, the light colour is hard to see against the tab bar background colour. When tabs are at the bottom, this isn't an issue.
Is there any way to improve this?
In preferences->Display->Colors&Fonts select the Folder tabs in the items box.
Check enable and modify the background and/or label color according to your preferences. For example, give the inactive tabs a light-grey label and the active tabs a black label.
