Does anyone know if there is a way to fix the drag-n-drop handshaking problem between Directory Opus and Firefox?
For example, open up a new instance of in IE and go to the following URL:
http://www.phong.com/tutorials/mask.tree/tree.jpg (I just googled for "tree image," that's all. This problem applies to any image on any website.)
Now, in IE, I can left-click on that image in IE and then just drag it to an open lister in Directory Opus to save it locally. BUT--doing the same thing in Firefox always produces a zero byte file. The work around I have been putting up with for years now is to drag it to my desktop, and then from there, drag it to a lister.
Also, before you ask, dragging from Firefox to Windows' standard File Explorer works fine. It's only Directory Opus that fails to properly interpret the clipboard data from the Drag/Drop operation.
So since I've never seen anyone else report this, I figure it must be me, so are there any settings I should be looking at to resolve this issue?
Thanks.
