I never had this problem with version 5,6,7,8,or 9.
I tried to find a file and I an stuck on the "find" page. I can not move files.
Do I have to uninstall and reinstall? Rebooting does not help.

Version 5 was on the Amiga.
Version 7 did not exist.
That aside, you'll need to provide a little more information as to what your problem is before anyone can help you.
What I am saying is that after I use "find", I can not escape the find page which does not allow me to use other functions of the file manager.
Rebooting does not help. I find page still comes up.
How do I get back to the ability to move files??
Why can't you "escape the find page"? What exactly do you mean?
Maybe post a screenshot to illustrate your issue?
"What happened is that I thought I downloaded a file to the wrong folder. When I used "find" to locate it, hitting "compute"r no longer listed drives but redisplayed the "find" page again. It paralysed my ability to move filesr"
o.0 I think it would be best if you created a video of this in action. Or at least post a few screenshots.
I do not think that I am sophisticated enough to post videos or screen shots. I don't think that they would help anyway
Looks like I have to re-install and remember to never use Opus to find files again
.
They may help us understand what it is you're talking about, whereas currently I don't think anyone has a clue...
Odd that no one else has this problem.
At least I know not to use Opus to find files. Everything else works fine and it still is much better than Windows Explorer even with the flaw.
I just got 2 new computers and I will buy Opus again.
Do you still sell version 9??
It´s been said already. Why don´t you just post a screenshot, so users would get an idea about your find window problem.
Maybe you don´t even have to go back to v9 to solve it?

Just save the file and upload it to the Directory Opus Resource Centre:

The problem is similar, but Opus does not loop. It hangs on the find page
