Hello. It seems to me that lately the display of folders is slow in DO. 7-8 seconds for a 33 item, 1.5GB directory on a local drive. Much slower than Windows Explorer. Is there a setting somewhere I haven't set correctly?

Try disabling all viewer plugins (Preferences -> Plugins) and turning off any columns like Description, Width, Height etc. (see the Folder Format FAQ if you need help) which cause Opus to look inside the files.
If you have any shortcuts in the problematic folders, make sure they doing point to network servers which no longer exist.
(I assume this is plain Details mode or similar and not something which shows thumbnails. If it is thumbnails then there are some other factors.)
