"Display this folder in the other file display" button

"Display this folder in the other file display" button doesn't work! Why?

Works fine here.

nope

yep!

it doesn't work for me on all Opus versions from 9.0 to 9.5 :frowning:

Perhaps you could give us a little more information, the paths involved, type of folders etc. It's a little hard to diagnose a problem with "It doesn't work".

paths? even c:/ to e:/ do nothing!

No idea then.

The button causes the folder displayed on one side to be displayed on the other side as well.

It doesn't take the selected folder on one side and display it in the other. Is that what you're expecting it to do?

i know it and want the same!

Is the folder on the right in a locked tab or something like that?

Maybe a screenshot that showed the full lister would help.

listers after pressing this button...
sometimes it goes to wrong folder (goes to C:/ instead of going to C:/Users)
no locks...

Click for full-size versions:
[ul][li]Dest was and still is E:/

[li]Dest was C:/Windows:
[/li][/ul]

Your folder tabs look unusual to me. I wonder if something to do with them is part of this?

For example, the "Root" one on the left has been renamed as it woudln't show that by default.

In the second screenshot, the first tab on the right is the tab out of all of them to have "(E:) " at the start of it, suggesting you've got the option turned on to display drive-letters in tabs but have also renamed all/most of the other tabs? (Or maybe the "(E:) " is part of that tab's name?)

If you open a new, vanilla tab in the destination, does the button then work?

Can you tell us how your tabs are configured?

Leo, you're the GREAT! This happens only on manually renamed 'Root' tab, on others tabs (also manually renamed) everything works fine! I just delete the 'Root' one and make a new tab. It works!   when i rename my new tab to 'Root' again - button doesn't work    very strange! It hangs on 'Root'-word!!!

Confirmed. Should be fixed whenever the next update comes out.
