Displaying the owner in the status bar?

Hey there guys, I couldn't find a way to do this in the manual so thought I'd check.

Is there any way to show the owner of a file in the status bar? This is something I check from time to time, but can't really justify seeing it all the time with a column. it would be awesome if it appeared in the status bar for the selected file.

Not in the status bar, only in columns and tooltips.

Having a button to toggle the column on and off is what I would do. Then you don't pay the time cost of calculating it (which can take a long time in some situations) every time you show a tooltip.
