DO 9.5.2 vs Windows 7 x64 Explorer slow copy rate

Hi,

When copy large file, ( > 1GB ) to a network drive on gigabits lan, Windows Explorer can reach 60MBps top constantly, however, with DO only 15-20MBps on average(it goes up and down from 500KBps to 12MBps).

Can anyone suggest what goes wrong with DO? I don't use special plugin / script / function when copying the file. It's all default factory behavior in DO.

SYSTEM:
WINDOWS 7 X64
8GB RAM
Core2 Quad Q6600
SATA HDD

REMOTE:
LINUX
SAMBA on SATA DRIVE

Try increasing the size of the copy buffer to see if that helps. (Settings -> Preferences / File Operations / Copying Files.)

There's no one size that works best in all cases (though the default is usually fine with most things) so you might need to experiment.
