DO on top of other windows

I recently upgraded my machine from Vista Ultimate to Windows 7 Pro. I reinstalled Directory Opus, which seems to working OK, with one anomaly: I usually have several programs running, including DO. If I am working in WinWord, for example, and I need to maximize DO to look for something, when I try to return to WinWord I cannot merely click on its icon in the taskbar; DO stays on top. I have to minimize it to get back to WinWord. DO is the only program I've noticed that requires that extra step. It did not occur while I was still using Vista. Any ideas?
