DO12 - copy progress display

I am really looking forward to DO12.

At the moment the copy dialog shows the bytes that have been copied for one file (e.g. 10 MB / 120 MB) and the number of files that have been copied (e.g. 50 / 2000). Might it be possible to add a global byte counter (e.g. 530 MB / 23,413 MB)? The file count itself is sometimes useless as 50 / 2000 might mean 13 MB / 23,413 MB or 23,210 MB / 23,413 MB depending on the size and order of the files.

The windows copy dialog isn't that bad:

It shows the remaining file count and the remaining size. But lacks a progress bar for the current file.

I don't understand why the graph should be unitless (the windows dialog deals rather well with units and has a horizontal line that shows the current speed). Maybe it should even be a progress bar (maybe as an option).

Sorry for bringing this up again.

I would like you to have a look at this old thread:

Please reconsider the arguments the users were posting. I don't think a better progress display is just eye candy.

Enhancing the speed graph that is already in the Opus 12 public beta is something we plan to do (although other work has higher priority at the moment, it is on our list).

That sounds great. For the moment a global byte counter seems to be even more important to me than a nice looking speed graph. And a counter is easier to implement ...
Thanks for your great work.
