The fix for applying the color labels to the tree seems to work only in the left folder tree but not but not (properly) for the right (dual) folder tree.
(Besides, it would really be great if Dopus would support the "normal" folder tree (with just one pane) also to be placeable on the right side. Now I have to use a dual horizontal pane layout with the left tree hidden and the lower pane shrunk as much as possible, but it is not pretty and uses up space.)
Dual Display is just an option. If you turn it off (View - Dual Display - should be disabled) you'll get single panel (with or without folder tree - as you want).
Sorry, but what does that have to do with 1) the bug I reported 2) my wish that I stated in the parenthesis?
Sorry, I must misunderstand what you're write in brackets in your last post.
We've found an issue where assigning labels to drive roots (e.g. "C:" itself) doesn't always update the tree's colors immediately. That has been fixed for 12.2.4.
Could be the cause.
I defined a system wide color label in Prev / Fav. & Recent / Labels respectively Label Assignments, which color codes all files and folders having been modified today and another for files and folders modified within the last 5 days. (Besides it should color code files and folders both on the local disc but also on the UNC network path.)
But the left tree works fine.
That's different to what was just fixed. If you'd like us to look at that, please post the exact setup of the label filters you are using and also link your account.
ok
I'll do that in after next week since I am not back at work next week.
I tried 12.2.4 (beta) now. This seems to have solved the bug. If it should come back again I will come back too
I am back
account is linked now.
After creating more labels and playing around with them, the colors in both trees now don't work correctly. Using the latest beta 12.2.4.
For the exact setup of the label filters I am using please see the attached pics, thx.
In this example (of what I left visible) the folder "Bartl Stephan" and all its subfolders should have the same highlighting as its first subfolder "3D-Explosionszeichnungen" according to the filter "BartlStephan" but only that first one and the subfolders of all the other first-level-subfolders have. Noteably the subfolders of this first one (which is highlighted correctly) are again not highlighted (reversed to all other subfolders).
(The second subfolder "3D-Modelle & 2D-Maßzeichnungen" and some of its subfolders are highlighted correctly according to the 5 days filter.)

OOOOk, as in Sven's case, a reboot fixed it for me too now.
But can that be the yellow of the egg that I always will have to reboot if I play around with the color labels. I mean I cannot even play with them if I can't trust the results during play time.
