When trying to access a folder, while the size calculation is still in progress, i have to wait, until the calculation is finished. So pushing "Enter" doesn't do anything during that process, as well as trying to navigate in the file list. I'm not sure, if that was the case with older versions, but wanted to report it anyway.
Do you mean automatic calculation that is triggered as soon as you go to a folder, or do you mean a calculation you started manually (e.g. via Ctrl+L or Edit > Calculate Folder Sizes)?
The option was set to "standard", which might be similar to the "automatic" setting. So i meant some kind of automatic calculation. This effect is not noticeable with most folders, since normally i don't have that many subfolders (it happened in a directory with more than 1000 subfolders).
"Default" in the folder options dialog means use whatever is set globally under "Preferences / Folders / Folder Behaviour / Calculate folder sizes automatically for..."
You could override it in folder options for that folder to prevent the calculations there while keeping them everywhere else, if that helps.
