This bug seems to have a couple of effects. The scenario is, i have a collection of a couple of hundreds of music folders with MP3s. Some of them have some "flagged" status icon, plus a rating, like about a dozen from more than 560 folders. So far everything was ok. But when i tried to group them by "status icon", things got strange. After i had saved the folder options, & reloaded the folder, the grouping did not work consistently. In one case i had a different count of items in the much smaller group of folders, which carry a status icon / rating.
Another time the lister showed no status icon group at first, but the circle was spinning, to finally list the items. But some of the following folders, which are simple albums of a couple of hundred MB, were shown as having like 25 or 112 GB. This happened to only three folders/albums from over 560, being pretty close in the list to the group of maybe a dozen flagged/rated folders (maybe it matters somehow). If i hit F5, that group of rated folders only shows up after the size count, & if i scroll down, using the mouse, then scroll back up, as if i have to "catch" those items. While the count continues, i can't drag the scroll bar, but the mouse wheel works.
Sure. Here the first one, which doesn't show the grouping at first. You can see the few folders, which report a much too large size. When i turn the grouping off, then reload, it will be something around 90-120MB, actually. That would be the correct size for those folders.
Normally not, that's true. Following is the same folder as above, but after i had scrolled down once, & up again, to make the grouping appear. The wrong size is simply indicated in the size column, as the markers indicate. Note, that the wrong size stays the same, after "fetching" the upper group, by using the mouse wheel.
