DO9: CD lister stuck in Details View mode

I have three CD drives, two physical ones and a virtual one.

In DO8, double-clicking on a CD drive used to open its contents in Power View mode (the mode I had set as default in my Default Lister). Since I switched to DO9, it's stuck in Details View mode (like the Recycle Bin, etc).

And the odd thing is, it only affects my two physical devices. The DT virtual drive opens correctly in Power View mode

I think I'd start by going into preferences and looking at the current folders section configuration. Especially for these areas:

Folders/Folder Formats
Folders/Default Formats

Thanks a lot John.

For some reason, my folder formats didn't get carried over from DO8. Resetting the Removable Drives to Custom did the trick. Likewise, I have just noticed that my InfoTips settings have not been imported either. Looks like the settings conversion has some shortcomings.

If you saved a copy of your Opus 8 config, please try this:[ol][li] Uninstall Opus 9 completely off your PC[/li]
[li] Re-install Opus 8[/li]
[li] Import your Opus 8 configuration.[/li]
[li] Inspect your Opus 8 settings. Save some before screen grabs of the things that you noticed were messed up in Opus 9.[ol][li] Depress Print Screen or +< Print Screen> with the window or dialog in focus.[/li]
[li] Open and Opus lister to a local hard drive folder.[/li]
[li] Right-click in the empty lister space and Select Paste.[/li]
[li] Using the Images toolbar convert the images to .jpg 90 or lower.[/li][/ol][/li][li] Export a separate copy of your Opus 8 config, without any FTP passwords, et cetera, in case you need to send it off to GPSoftware.[/li]
[li] Re-download Opus 9 (it was updated shortly after release).[/li]
[li] Exit Opus 8 (right-click the tray icon - Exit).[/li]
[li] Install Opus 9 over top of Opus 8, rebooting when prompted, and upgrading your configuration when prompted.

NOTE: If you never are prompted for a reboot, reboot after installing Opus 9, but before using it.
[/li]
[li] Inspect your Opus 9 settings. Save some after screen grabs of any thing that you noticed is messed up from what it was in Opus 8.[ol][li] Depress Print Screen or +< Print Screen> with the window or dialog in focus.[/li]
[li] Open and Opus lister to a local hard drive folder.[/li]
[li] Right-click in the empty lister space and Select Paste.[/li]
[li] Using the Images toolbar convert the images to .jpg 90 or lower.[/li][/ol][/li][/ol]

If you still have issues, file a support request with GPSoftware (link in my signature). Paste a link to this thread in the report (right-click the Anchor link and select Copy Shortcut). Jon will most likely want to see a copy of your Opus 8 configuration backup.
