Docked viewer pane is not updated on tab navigation

I'm wondering about the update behaviour of the viewer pane:

Sometimes it is updated (e.g. when entering a folder the viewer pane is updated to the content of the first file) but sometimes it isn't updated (e.g. when changing focus).

To be honest I feel really confused that the viewer pane is updated when I create a new tab but it is not updated when an old tab is closed!?

This behaviour occassionally has led to some mis-interpretation on my side because if I come back to DOpus I can not be sure that the current file (which has focus and selection) is actually displayed in the viewer pane. Instead I have to press space to trigger a manual re-selection of the already selected file. That feels some kind of inconvenient. In the past I have struggled with this behavious multiple times, because in our repository we have many very similar looking files and it's easy to miss that the viewer pane shows a file that may belong to an other tab which was sent to the background or was closed minutes ago.

I would really appreciate to see this fixed to let the viewer pane always show the content of the focussed (and selected) file.

It updates when something new is selected in the active file display. (Changing tabs doesn't cause a new selection, just changes which file display you can see.)

We might change it at some point so that changing tabs or activating the other side of a dual lister also triggers the viewer to re-evaluate which file it is showing, but that's how it works right now.

Ok, so it is intended and it is not a bug but anyway it feels like a bugI  Thus I would be so happy to see this fixed.
