Does DO replace Windows Explorer with Lite mode?

I just installed DO today, and like what I see so far. I do want it to replace Windows Explorer, but haven't seen an option that I can check. I'm using the LIte version.

I did a search and saw one option: Preferences / Launching Opus / Explorer Replacement.. But I wasn't able to see this. Does DO Lite not replace Windows Explorer?

No. See gpsoft.com.au/program/pro-lite.html

Fair enough. Before I shell out 80 USD for an explorer replacement, however, I'd like to see if I can get what I want within the Lite version.

Is there a way to make shortcuts (to pin to my start menu or desktop) that would open up DO in a certain location? I have DO set to open up my D partition by default, and I want it like that. But I'm wondering if I can make shortcuts to other locations, too.

Yes. You can make Opus open any other drive (E:, F:\ etc.) as well as paths (E:\Downloads\Music, etc.) by default. Note, that you can have many other locations handy, by just placing them in other open tabs, which also can be loaded by default. Furthermore, you can save or load specific tab groups, depending on your current task. Such a tab group, for instance, can open several tabs containing musik folders, film folders & so forth.

The easiest way to do that with Light is to create normal shortcuts to dopus.exe and then edit them so they pass the name of the folder you want to the program.

e.g. This shortcut would open C:\Program Files:

Thanks, Leo. That did it.
