Doesn't display error if access is denied to a folder

Minor issue for sure, but I was trying to access a network folder that I didn't realize I did not have access too. I would double click it and it would just refresh the page without showing an error.
In explorer it at pops up an "Access is Denied" error.

If you try to go to C:\System Volume Information you should see an access denied error. Does that happen?

If it's not happening for the nework drive, is it a Windows machine or something else? Some NAS devices report the wrong error codes for some operations, which may be confusing things.

Maybe the same problem...

Leo: Yep! I see an error there.

I am on Windows, and I believe the network drives are Windows servers as well. It's work drives that are using active directory for permissions I believe.

Here is the exact error I get in Explorer:

How would I see the error code it is reporting?

Using Process Monitor to log filesystem actions with paths beginning with W:\ will probably reveal what's happening.

If you can do that and then (try to) access the folder in Opus, then in Explorer, and save the log in .PML format, we can take a look at it for you.

(PML logs are usually large, but compress very well if zipped. You can email them to crashdumps@gpsoft.com.au in case the logs contain private details, e.g. usernames or server names.)
