I used to be able to do multiple actions in the same queue but now, for some reason, every time I perform an action, like unzip a file, then want to copy a file, it adds all actions to the queue and I have to right click on the item and it asks if I want to perform it now. Is there something i have turned by mistake? Is there a way to get it to perform actions without it adding it to the queue?
You could check under -> preferences -> file operations -> copy options -> miscellaneous if you have the middle option (out of five) checked. Maybe it should be unchecked.
Turning off Preferences / File Operations / Copy Options / Automatically manage file copy queues will prevent things being queued automatically.
Automatic queuing, if turned on, will queue things to the same destination drive. (There's a bit more to it than that, described in the manual if you want the full details.)
