i would like to know how i can prevent Directory Opus from displaying search resuls in the folder structure, as if they were file objects. it is quite annoying and serves no real purpose, as i can just perform a search again if i want to.
please advice on how to get rid of this:
There's no way to stop that being added to the tree if you use the Windows Search field at the top-right of the window.
But it's also removed from the tree automatically as soon as you navigate to another folder, so it shouldn't be staying there or getting in the way.
You can also use Tools > Find Files instead of the Windows Search field. That shows the results in a different way, under File Collections instead.
