Dopus crashed and the pirate cat appeared

Hi,

Dopus 12 just crashed while trying to show the Windows 10 trash, and now I get this pirate cat chasing the Dopus logo all over the monitor.

This is (not) funny because I got work to do. Also, this joke of you guys is kinda frightening because that pirate cat seems to run some disguised process that does not show up (properly?) in Task Manager.

Before googling that cat, I really thought I caught some kind of virus. Believe me, this is NOT funny in an office.

So what *.exe process is this, and how can I get rid of that cat?

The process isn't hidden from Task Manager.

The cat should not appear unless the Opus program files or registration data has been modified in a way which would normally prevent the program itself from working as well.

Reinstalling the program and licence code over the top of your existing setup should normally fix things.
