DOpus portable USB licence

Hi all,

Just upgraded my DO license to be able to have dopus on portable situations.
Followed the procedure but unable to mount it on a SD card ...
Mounted the card on a reader plugged on usb, and was able to install it, but when mounting the card again alone it doesn't work.
Any ideas?
Does it only installs on usb sticks?
Shoudn't it be better specified by DOpus avoiding me to waste $10?

Thanks
Vitor

What do you mean by "mounting the card alone"?

Is it being mounted in a different way (without the USB card reader?) the second time?

Sorry, forget to tell that the card is being inserted in a laptop slot.
I directly inserted in the laptop, DO doesn't launch, if connected trough a usb reader, it hardly works more that 10 min before crashing ... anyway, my intent was to use the card slot on the laptop, and not with a card reader.

It should work in the laptop slot as long as the laptop's internal card reader is connected via an internal USB port/bus. I think they normally are, but may be wrong.

To check if it is, on the laptop:

  • Insert the SD card.

  • Open Device Manager (if using Windows 10, right-click the Start button and choose Device Manager).

  • Select the drive or card under Disk Drives:

  • Select View > Devices by Connection:

  • See if the device is now listed below a USB hub or USB Mass Storage:

As an aside, if it is your own personal laptop, your main Opus licence may include the option of installing Opus on it normally, depending on how many other machines Opus is already being used on.

Unfortunately it doesn't appear ...
