Is this a real-world situation or are you trying to find pathological cases in the change-notification code?
Either way, can you give us an easy way to do the same thing to see if we can reproduce what you're seeing?
Addition: I just remembered your old thread, which was locked for a reason. Are you only seeing this problem if you have 10 listers with 18 tabs in each and create 7,500 symbolic links? If so, as we already said, we plan to improve the change notification code in the future but this kind of pathological case is not a priority and is somewhat self-inflicted. You can disable change notification if you really need to do those things.
If you can give us a way to easily re-create what you are seeing, then that may help us improve the code, but anything else seems like ground we have already covered in the other thread.
