Leo found it too (actually "first")... and used alot less posts to explain it. But hey, the rest of us have to do SOMETHING to try and catch up to 10k++ posts .
Yeah, I'm in software/hardware - though I've gone back in to management lately (groan), but really I just happened across this. Just as easily could have used the Delete button and missed it...
Hopefully jodyfaison sees the fix stuff and doesn't waste too much of their time trying to troubleshoot some more.
Yes quite an amazing piece of discovery work done here in this forum post, I'm IMPRESSED! I guess great software inspires great forums. But I posted the last comment before refreshing I guess, cuz I missed about 5 posts, but I think I did "the FIX" stuff refered to by steje, or did I? I just added the "FileType ACTION=open" to the left double click event in the edit file type dialog box. And as I said they (each file type in the document group) now opens with a double click. Life is Good.
FYI: If you haven't noticed the post in News & Announcements... you should know that the problem that "caused" the things to go wrong mentioned here has been reported as being fixed in the latest (v9.1.1.7) update...
