Doubled menu items?

Look in Settings>File Types>select Images in File type Groups>click Edit>select Tooltip tab>click Insert Field>Special>Shell.
I see doubled menu items for Author, Subject, Keywords and Title.

If you add both do they display the same data? (Maybe there are two shell extensions on your system that provide columns with the same names. I'm not sure if that's possible but it could be one explanation.)

Which version of Windows are you using? I don't see this on Vista, FWIW.

Win XP SP2.
No suspected shell extensions.
Tags are added as fe. {sh:author} and {sh:author1}. But when selecting columns to display, only ONE Author column is avaliable.

I added author data via Windows proprerties (ie. EXIF Unicode tag) and with external program as IPCT field, but neither tooltip configured with both author tags nor Column display anything.

It might be worth running ShellExView to see which Column Handler shell extensions you have. (Sort by the Type column once ShellExView opens.)

Unfortunately it won't tell you where each of the column names comes from but it might reveal something. It also lets you temporarily disable extensions to see if the duplicate entries are coming from them.

I don't know if this will help but I couldn't think of anything else to try, sorry. (At least it's not a very serious problem but it would be nice to get to the bottom of it.)
