Having been notified of an update, three times I have attempted to carry this out but the progress bar for the download almost reaches the end of it's travel and then nothing happens!
Help please.

Grab the update from here instead (it's the same file the auto-updater is trying to download/install): gpsoft.com.au/DScripts/download.asp
Which anti-virus and firewall software are you using?
Many thanks for your prompt answer - I thought this would be only way but couldn't find a manual download other than the full version. Wasn't sure whether this would be suitable so thanks for the pointer.
I use ZoneAlarm Security Suite and have done for the past five or six years without a problem previously. There's always a first time and this must have been it!

Just wanted to say I'm having the same problem. Win 7 ultimate 64bit AVG antivirus & firewall.
I'll go ahead and download manually this time.
