With Windows Explorer, I can drag .url files anywhere into Chrome or Vivaldi and it will open the relevant pages. With Directory Opus, it only works in Chrome if I drag into the URL address bar and then press enter on the address. In Vivaldi, it doesn't work at all.
Is this a bug, a feature or is there a setting somewhere I can change?
Any advice would be much appreciated.
For me D&D of an .url from lister to Edge or Chrome window opens the .url as text. D&D from Desktop opens web page. D&D from lister to address bar of the browsers works as for @MattB1 .
